The bus is maintained and serviced exceeding government regulations, fully licensed and fully insured including a comprehensive passenger liability cover. Our well experienced and thoroughly trained driver brings you safely to your destination.

A spacious luggage trailer (14" wheels) is available ( can be rented with the bus as well at an extra charge  with the self drive option).

Our bus is registered as "Heavy Passenger Vehicle" and requires a PrDp. It can be driven with a drivers licence code B, however, if towing a trailer licence C1 is required. Please inquire with us for a personalized quote.

Unser Bus benötigt eine südafrikanische "PrDp" Professionel Driver Permit (Personentransportschein) und kann daher nicht von Urlaubern selbst gefahren werden.

RESERVATIONS AND BOOKINGS

All bookings will only be processed and confirmed by JIC Travel once full payment for the requested service is received.

CANCELLATIONS

If a cancellation is mutually agreed upon following refund policy applies:

100% refund will be given up to 30 days prior to departure
50% refund will be given from 29 to 7 days prior to departure
No refund will be given from 7 - 0 days prior to departure

ON BOARD RULES

The driver shall at all times be responsible for adherence to the following rules and regulations. These rules are there for every passenger to ensure their comfort and safety:

• No smoking on the bus
• No drinking of red wine or drinking / eating of dairy products
• Passengers are requested to wear seatbelts
• No unauthorised passengers are allowed
• Number of passengers may NOT exceed number of authorised seats
• No feet are allowed to be placed on the seats and dashboard
• Passengers are not to leave any personal belongings in the bus and we will not accept liability for any loss of personal belongings of any nature
• No prohibited, dangerous or hazardous items of any kind are allowed on the bus or in the luggage

DRIVERS MEALS AND ACCOMMODATION

Only applies to rental with driver: The Hirer must supply the driver with three meals a day and provide / book a separate room with en-suite facilities.

OUR RIGHT TO DECLINE

We reserve the right to decline, to execute or to complete any contract, should the above conditions not be strictly complied with. Such rights, when exercised by JIC Travel, shall be without prejudice to its rights to claim damages or other relief from the Hirer.

OUR RIGHT TO SUB-CONTRACT

We reserve the right to sub-contract in case of an emergency or by choice, and when this right is exercised, the substitute vehicle will, as far as circumstances permit, compare equally with the same vehicle, in comfort and reliability, which was initially booked.

TIMEKEEPING AND TOUR AMENDMENTS

Only applies to rental with driver: JIC Travel will make every reasonable effort to conform to the proposed timetable. It does not undertake to commence or to complete the journey at any specified time, and shall not be liable in any way, whatsoever, for any total or partial failure to perform the contract by reason of any mechanical or other defects, breakdown, accident or any other causes including any strike or lockout, fire or act of God, or for any claims, damages or expenses arising from defects or failure as aforesaid, or any delays in starting, transit, arrival or return of any vehicles.

Only applies to rental with driver: The Hirer will secure a detailed itinerary highlighting all departure and arrival times, venues on route departure and arrival times, to ensure punctuality thereof. Sufficient time must be made available for co-ordination with other modes of transport on arrival times at destinations and venues. The Hirer indemnifies JIC Travel from any claims, which may arise from stopping at venues and altering the departure times not agreed upon, prior or during the journey, as per the official itinerary. Should the fulfillment of any journey be rendered impossible, illegal or in the opinion of JIC Travel, inadvisable for any reasonable cause, JIC Travel may at any time cancel such journey or the remainder thereof or make any alteration in the route, accommodation, price or other details thereof that JIC Travel may think fit, or change drivers and/or vehicles en route or use public transportation to convey passengers.

TOLL AND ENTRANCE FEES

Only applies to rental with driver: The published daily rates do NOT include toll fees or any vehicle entrance fees

INDEMNITY

JIC Travel is hereby exempted from, and shall not be liable for, any loss or any damage, direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise, caused to and/or suffered by the Hirer or any other party due to and/or arising from:

any defect in the Vehicle and/or arising from the use by the Hirer of the Vehicle
and/or any luggage
and/or property stolen from the Vehicle and damaged while in the Vehicle or left in the Vehicle after its return

JURISDICTION

This Agreement is governed by South African Law and subject to South African jurisdiction.
