| Leg 3 - Botswana |
Entering Botswana via the Buitepos border post, brings us straight into the heart of the Kalahari desert, a
large arid to semi-arid sandy region that
covers much of Botswana. |

| From there we move on in a north-easterly direction into the Chobe National Park boosting
one of the highest game concentrations on the entire continent and one of the world's last remaining sizeable wilderness areas. |
| |
| By size, the Chobe National Park is the third largest park in Botswana, after the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and the Gemsbok National Park , but definitively the most diverse and spectacular. This was also Botswana's first national park. |
